TV Network CW rumoured to be working with DC comics on a new season

The TV network CW is set to tackle one of the most complicated stories in the mainstream superhero comics. The crossover is set to happen in the next season. The network will be using the annual cross-over among its various superhero dramas to take on Crisis on Infinite Earths.

CWs is rumoured to be working on a new set with DC

The characters Flash and Supergirl on the CW will figure prominently in any other show. The 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will broadcast over five episodes in December and January. This information was revealed by the President of CW, Mark Pedowitz who said three episodes will be out in December and 2 in early January 2020.

The executives did not offer any details about the plot or concept, but the crossover was announced during a presentation to the advertisers. They also unveiled to launch a new series centred around DC’s Batwoman and other characters. 'Crisis’' has its roots in the 12-issue series published in 1985 and 1986. The reason behind DC using the 'Crisis on Infinite Earth' is to blow up its multiple worlds and reshape its comic landscape so all its heroes live in the same time and space.

It is said that Titans won’t 'e the only CW property that will be making an appearance in the crossover. Kevin Conroy has been voicing Batman in various animated DC projects for over 20 years and is set to appear in Crisis as an older version of Bruce Wayne. The Robin to Adam West's Batman, Burt Ward has an undisclosed role in the event. There is a rumour that Micheal Rosenbaum and Tom Welling from Smallville will also make an appearance.

Fans and online speculation are predicting the end of 'Arrow' which mean the show's protagonist will meet some sort of ultimate fate in the crossover. The crossover was released during the season’s event so the producers could have over 18 months to discuss the plots. The prediction of the CW’s 'Crisis' mirroring the events of the comics, the story is likely to be world-shattering.
