Amit shared that he and his doctor wife decided to have a baby for the sake of keeping their marriage alive, but that, unfortunately, did not work out and they ended up getting separated. They separated in 2017 but reconciled in 2019. Amit shared that they used to get into arguments a lot and since they were both hot-headed personalities, neither of them backed down. Amit shared that fights in marriage gave way to his infidelity, which he kept a secret from Ruby for years.The actor and singer shared, ''I am a hot-headed Arian, she is a hot-headed Scorpion, so when we would fight, there was nobody who would ask us to calm down. If we stayed with our family, they would ask us to go to our separate rooms, they would ask us to calm down.
