Game of Thrones fans are not able to get over the fact that the fantasy saga is over that they do not need to obsess as to who will sit on the uncomfortable power epicentre - the Iro Thone and b the rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

Rummaging the gamut of trivia shared by the producers of the hit TV Show - HBO, through the years a new fan theory has emerged speculating that a poster of Season 1 of GoT had already held the answer to the burning question - Who will sit on the Iron Throne?

While the Series finale which aired on May 19, revealed that Brandon Stark - Lord Eddard Stark only living trueborn son will sit on the Iron throne ruling the six kingdoms as Bran the Broken, Twitter has found the Season 1 poster which featured Brandon's father - Lord Eddard Stark, also known as Ned Stark, sitting on the throne clutching his sword held the key. 

The reason - A raven resembling the three-eyed raven rests on the hilt of one of the thousand swords which constitute the fabled Iron Throne.

While Bran never technically sat on the Iron Throne as a raven or otherwise, because Queen Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen's favourite dragon-Drogon burnt the throne, turning it into a molten mass of simmering iron puddle, Twitterati is running with the theory that the finale lay right in front of our eyes.

Game of Thrones, based on George R.R Martin's books - A song of ice and fire, aired first in 2011 and ran for eight seasons with its series finale airing on May 19 on HBO. While the TV show has ended breaking many hearts, the last two books of the series are yet awaited.
