Nazar (StarPlus)
The story is based on Mohana, a 200-plus-year-old vampire-like creature who practices black magic. The woman uses witchcraft to kill people and steal their age to stay forever young. The series outlines the struggles of a family under the evil eyes of this woman who bewitches them with her dark energies for ages.
Main Bhi Ardhangini (&TV)
Main Bhi Ardhangini is a romantic horror series which is in its second series. It follows the story of Maha Maya, a transforming snake. The show is the official remake of Zee Tamil's Yaaradi Nee Mohini which stars Avinash Sachdev, Anjali Priya, Deepshikha Nagpal and Krutika Desai.
Laal Ishq (&TV)
Laal Ishq is another Indian romantic/horror television series that airs on &TV. The story follows the mysterious life and events of couples, with every episode featuring a new couple. The show focuses on the never-ending love of couples, even after their death.
Kavach (Colors TV)
It is a supernatural horror-drama series whose plot is built around the story of Savitri and Satyavan. The first season of Kavach came out three years ago and the show is currently in its second season which premiered on May 25 this year. The show stars Deepika Singh, Namik Paul and Vin Rana in the lead.
Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein (Zee TV)
This is a horror series of stories of the supernatural inspired by real-life incidents. It moves beyond ghosts and explores all the paranormal events and phenomenon. The series first aired on Zee TV on June 30, 2012, and lasted until 17 August 2014 after competing two seasons. The third season concluded recently, however, the next season of the show has already been planned and will reportedly go on live soon.
