Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Here is the written update for November 8, 2019

Kasautii Zindagii Kay is a popular television soap opera that airs on Star Plus. The serial is a modern-day revival of the older version which was as popular as the new one, if not more. The plot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay revolves around Anurag and Prerna's love story, the trials and tribulations they face along the way.

What happened today on Kasautii Zindagii Kay

Somebody at the office says that their new boss has arrived and Prerna is supposed to welcome him. A car stops in front of the office and their new boss is revealed to be Anurag Basu. Prerna is bickering with a colleague about something when Anurag steps into the office. Prerna turns to welcome the boss with a garland and is shocked that their new boss is Anurag. She freezes and goes into a reminiscence of how they got married under unique circumstances. Anurag calls her out and she steps towards him with the garland. They have another moment of silence while their wedding day is seen in flashbacks. Prerna finally puts the garland on him, hands him a bouquet and welcomes him to which Anurag responds with a “Thank You”. While walking away, Anurag wonders why Prerna was looking at him in a weird way and concludes that she might have been a fan of him in college like other girls.

One of her seniors comes and informs Prerna that as Anurag’s secretary she should always be with him. They enter Anurag’s office and the man sitting there introduces Prerna to him as his secretary. The two men leave and Prerna and Anurag are left alone. Anurag starts a conversation and gets to know that it was also Prerna’s first day at the office. They sit down to work and Anurag asks Prerna to pass a file. While handing it over, Prerna accidentally touched his hands. The file slipped from her hands and the papers started flying all over the place due to a sudden gust of wind. Both try to gather the scattered papers while music starts playing in the background. They dash against each other while gathering the papers and Anurag holds Prerna to prevent her from falling. Prerna has another series of a flashback of her and Anurag from before. Time stands still for both of them. The phone’s ring brings them back to reality. The two start bickering like an old married couple.

Anurag’s phone rings again and it turns out to be Komolika. But Anurag did not seem too interested in talking to her. He could not find a file that was required and calls up Nivedita, asking her to bring the file for him to his office. Komolika walks up to her and asks to take the file to him. Komolika comes to the office with the file and walks towards Anurag’s cabin. Prerna also hurries to a meeting and dashes with her. The two narrowly misses being face-to-face. Komolika waits for Anurag in his office.

Meanwhile, Prerna and Anurag have another moment together as her saree gets stuck to the door handle. The meeting comes to an end and Komolika is being led to Anurag. While coming out of the meeting Prerna and Komolika’s hands' touch. The two again narrowly miss coming face-to-face with another.
