Kaun Banega Crorepati is an extremely popular Hindi game show hosted by the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The pattern of the show consists of a series of multiple-choice questions that leads you higher into the game charge as the questions proceeds by each level. Every question is allotted a certain amount of cash that the player wins if he or she answers it correctly. Through the game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati has offered a helping hand to people who come from unfortunate and underprivileged backgrounds.

In the last episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, host Amitabh Bachchan resumed the game with Sushma Singh Chauhan who was the contestant from Thursday. The episode saw Chauhan playing till the 9th question and taking home the prize money of Rs 1,60,000. However, she answered the 10th question correctly. But she was not sure of her answer being correct, so she left the game soon after that. The latest episode was the 'Karamveer' episode where Big B welcomed contestant, Shyam Sunder Paliwal who is the recipient of the prestigious Nirlam Gram Award from the former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam.

Paliwal shared his inspiring story on the episode of how he turned his daughter's death into a motivation for himself and went on to plant numerous trees in his village. He has decided to plant 111 trees whenever a girl child is born in the village. Television actor, Sakshi Tanwar also came in support of Shyam and played the game alongside him. Paliwal also impressed Big B after sharing his story of constructing public toilets and inspiring people to save money for the girl child. Even Sakshi Tanwar was mighty impressed with Paliwal's endeavours and declared that she will also plant 111 trees in her daughter Dityaa's name. She also received several accolades from Amitabh Bachchan. One of the lighter moments from the show was when Big B shared an anecdote that he used to hang out with his friends at Delhi's Tughlakabad Fort during his college days.
