KBC 11 written update: Amitabh welcomes Taapsee Pannu in Karamveer Special episode

Kaun Banega Crorepati, currently hosted by the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, has been widely famous since its inception. The show is in its 11th season and has proven to be a great success in India. KBC is considered to be a great platform wherein citizens from different states in India also share their inspirational stories before playing the game.

The Friday night episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati is called 'Karamveer Special'. The episode on November 11 started with Khushboo, who was the rollover contestant from Thursday night’s episode. The evening began with the question for ₹ 10,000. Amitabh Bachchan was then given a tutorial in Bundelkhand language by Khushboo. Khushboo used her first of the four lifelines, Audience Poll, for the Rs 20,000 question and got the right answer.

After getting 2 questions right, she got stuck at the question worth ₹ 1,60,000. Khushboo then used two lifelines for this question. She first used 50:50, and then Flip The Question. The first question was "In 2019, who became the first-ever Indian cricketer to play 100 T20 international matches?" The answer is Harmanpreet Kaur.

After flipping the question, she opted for the entertainment category. She was asked to guess the name of the film from a video recording. Her last lifeline Ask The Expert won her ₹ 3,20,000. Finally, at the 12th question i.e. for ₹ 6,40,000, Khushboo quit the game.

Next,  Amitabh Bachchan introduced Dr Achyuta Samanta, founder of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (or KISS). He is known for working towards the upliftment of the tribal population. Amitabh then also welcomed Taapsee Pannu, who helped Dr Samanta on his KBC journey.

Taapsee and Achyuta used their Audience Poll lifeline to get the correct answer to the question "What is the literal meaning of the word 'Kumbh' in the 'Kumbh Mela'?" The correct answer is ‘A Pot.’ They won the total amount of ₹ 12,50,000. Amitabh Bachchan also talked about Achyuta’s initiative for the tribal people and talked to Taapsee about Bollywood. The two have appeared together in movies like Pink and Badla. Amitabh has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati for nearly 19 years now.
