Official! TMKOC Actor Kush Shah Replaced As Goli As His 16-Year-Long Stint Comes To An End
Kush Shah got emotional as he bid adieu to the long-running comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and his co-stars in a BTS video.
Kush Shah has quit the long-running comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after being part of the cast since its inception 16 years ago. In a video shared by the makers, Kush shared a farewell message for the fans of TMKOC. Even though he did not reveal the reason behind his exit, rumours suggest that he has moved on as he wishes to study abroad. Meanwhile, the new actor who will be playing the role of Goli in Kush's place has also been introduced.
Kush Shah bids emotional adieu to TMKOC
In a video, Kush Shah arrived on a scooter in Gokuldham society. He then addressed the audiences, saying, “When this show started, when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here. I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mr. Asit Kumar Modi for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today."
The video captures Goli's 16-year-long journey in TMKOC. As the cast is gathered for Kush's farewell, he promises to make the team proud wherever he goes in his life.
New Goli introduced in TMKOC
In TMKOC, Kush Shah said that actors can be replaced but characters will remain. As has been the case with many actors who have left the show in the past, the makers have found a replacement for Kush as well. The actor who will be essaying the role of Goli in Tapu Sena going forth was also introduced in the short video at the end.
