Rashid Ali: Details of the contestant's appearance on Indian Idol 11

Rashid Ali is a contestant of Indian Idol 11. The participant is the brother of Salman Ali, who appeared in Indian Idol 10 and was a winner. Have a look at one of his auditions posted by a YouTube channel. You can hear Rashid singing a famous Tere Bin Nahi Jeena. Originally sung by legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Kachhe Dhaage, this soulful melody has several remakes.

Salman Ali belongs to Mewat district of Haryana. According to reports, the last four generations of his family have been in the singing line to earn bread. The Indian Idol winner started singing at jagrans at an early age. He has lent his voice to the theme song of Chandragupta Maurya, a television series.

About other contestants

Stutee Tiwari was a contestant in Indian Idol's ninth season. Tiwari was eliminated early from the show. The singer has now appeared on the eleventh season.

Indian Idol 11 recent controversy

Recently, Indian Idol 11 was in the news. About a week old, this talent reality show was making waves for an incident that occurred on the show. A few days ago, a contestant forcibly kissed singer Neha Kakkar on stage. During an audition, a contestant tried to hug and planted a kiss on her cheek. Donned in a traditional Rajasthani outfit and a headgear, the participant asked if she remembers him. The judge tries to recognize him.  

Much to the Kala Chashma singer’s surprise, the contestant kissed on her cheek. The other judges looked shocked while the host of the show Aditya Narayan advanced to stop him. Embarrassed Neha walked down the stage.

A fan reacted on Twitter

A witness to the video took to social media and wrote to Vishal Dadlani. He asked the singer about how dare did the participant do such a thing, and hoped that he was not let off easily. Replying to the Tweet, Vishal Dadlani said that he wanted a police intervention but Neha Kakkar decided not to call the cops.
