Kangana Ranaut 

One of Rekha's most iconic roles is in the 1988 film, Khoon Bhari Maang. Produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, it is an unofficial remake of the 1983 Australian mini-series, Return To Eden, which starred Nicole Kidman. Rekha was applauded for her role as Aarti, a simple widow who avenges her husband's death and wrongdoings inflicted upon her. Katrina Kaif 

One of Rekha's underrated role is as the police officer in the 1991 film, Phool Bane Angaray. Directed by K.C.Bokadia, the film starred Rajnikanth as her husband. He is killed by the villain and to avenge his death, Rekha joins the police force to become a police officer. In today's times, Katrina Kaif would be able to pull off this role with conviction.
