Rishi Kapoor is a popular name in the Indian film industry. He has more than 60 years of experience in his acting career. Rishi Kapoor, in recent times, came up with his debut book and memoir named Khullam Kulla. 1) Rishi Kapoor thinks writers & directors were partial towards Amitabh Bachchan
In his book, Khullam Kulla, the actor reveals as to how he felt that writers & directors were partial towards Amitabh Bachchan and how it was unfair to give the credit to just the main lead when the rest of the actors were responsible for the success of the film too. He also feels that Amitabh Bacchan never gave credit to the actors who worked with him. Rishi Kapoor also mentions a few household names like Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, and Vinod Khanna whom he thinks faced the same situation.
2) Rishi Kapoor opens up about the sufferings faced by Neetu Kapoor due to him
Rishi Kapoor reveals as to how in times of depression, he would sometimes blame Neetu for his failures. In his memoir, he says that Bobby being a hit made him crave for similar success for his other films which eventually doomed. He says how during those times, Neetu was pregnant with his daughter, Riddhima, and she had to endure his breakdown as well as deal with everything else. The actor said he cannot imagine how tough it must have been for his wife back then.
3) Rishi Kapoor admits to actually buying an award
The actor admits to actually buying an award for his film Bobby. Cold wars were constant back then between Amitabh Bachan and Rishi Kapoor during the shooting of their film, Kabhie Kabhie. The actor feels very disappointed in himself now for buying the award back then, and even mentions how Taraknath Gandhi told him to hand over thirty thousand and claim the award. Rishi says how he is not one to manipulate but at that time, he impulsively bought the award.
