Sex Education season 2 announced, Otis Milburn will be back in 2020

Netflix’s Sex Education season 2 has been finally announced. The British comedy-drama according to sources is set to be released by early 2020. The official date of the release has not been revealed. Read on to know more.

Sex Education: Plot overview

Netflix Sex Education became a massive hit right from the moment it premiered on the streaming platform. Sex Education revolves around the lives of teenagers in a small Brit town who deal with their day-to-day lives. The protagonist of the film is Asa Butterfield a.k.a. Otis Milburn. Asa’s portrayal of Otis Milburn is considered to a realistic portrayal of any teenage boy and hence the audience has been able to connect with his character.

The show has a worldwide reach and deals with teenagers who also face issues regarding their sex lives. Interestingly, Otis’ mother is a sex therapist. This naturally affects Otis’ knowledge about sex which then leads him to become an underground or should we say abandoned toilet sex therapist in his school. The season first of Sex Education then follows the lives of Otis Milburn and his girlfriend Ola and friends Maeve Wiley, Eric, Adam Groff, Jackson, and several others.

What to expect from the new season? (Spoiler Alert)

The season finale of Sex Education was no less than a cliff hanger. So it will be interesting to see what happens to Ola and Otis’ relationship in season two and how does it progress over the due course. There are also high chances of Maeve Wiley being a major roadblock in their relationship. It was pretty clear that Maeve was heart-broken when she saw Otis and Ola kissing.

Adam Groff was also sent away by his headmaster and father to a military camp after they fought at the school Ball. In the Season 2 stills from Sex Education  Adam Groff can be seen making a comeback. Furthermore, Eric's problems regarding his sexual identity might also put him to risk even more in this season also his dynamics with Adam will be an important event.
