Ahead of Salaar release, Prabhas' rugged look from Kalki 2898 AD set goes viral

Prabhas, who is filming for his highly-anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, took some time out from his busy schedule and met the CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos. However, what grabbed netizens' attention was his rugged look.

Prabhas sports fully fully-grown beard 

Ted Sarandos, who was recently in India, met the "legends of Telugu cinema". At the end of his tour, he shared a combined post praising the stars and shared a series of photos posing with the actors. Among them was a photo of Ted meeting Prabhas. In the image, Prabhas could be seen sporting a heavy beard and moustache.

It seems, his rugged look is from Kalki 2898 AD as he has been busy shooting for the film, helmed by Nag Ashwin.

Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be an epic science fiction dystopian drama co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in the lead. Earlier this year, the makers unveiled the first look at San Diego Comic-Con showcased a glimpse of the war-torn period, where people were being treated violently by the oppressors, and they were running for their lives. The teaser shows a message flashing ‘when the world is taken over by darkness, a force will rise. The end begins now'.

Prabhas' character can be seen as a valiant warrior, who becomes the saviour of the people and the world with his futuristic superpowers. While Deepika plays a recruit in an army from the futuristic world. It seems Prabhas and Kamal Haasan will be at loggerheads in the film. Produced by C Aswani Dutt from Vyjayanthi Movies, the magnum opus is set to release on January 12, 2024.
