Devil earns over Rs 12 crores at box office in 4 days, Kalyan Ram pens an emotional note

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is thankful to fans for making his New Year "wonderful" by giving him the best New Year gift ever by making his film Devil a success at the box office. The film, which hit the theaters on December 29, has managed to collected over Rs 12 crore at the box office.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram pens a Thank You Note

On the film's first Tuesday, January 2, actor-producer Kalyan Ram took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) to pen a Thank You note for his fans. The actor wrote, "Thank you all for giving us a wonderful New Year gift in the form of Devil's success. Your love is increasing with each passing day. It is heartening to see the audience embracing a different attempt and owning it."

Kalyan Ram, at the end of his post, also congratulated the entire team of Devil. The film that's made on an overall budget of Rs 35 crores, has earned over Rs 12 crores in just four days of its release, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

What do we know about Devil?

Devil, directed by Abhishek Nama, stars  Kalyan Ram, Elnaaz Norouzi and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles. The film revolves around a British secret agent who takes up the job of solving a dark mystery. This leads the hero into a web of love, deceit and betrayal. Its on his success or failure that will change the course of history.

While Kalyan Ram is happy about the success of Devil, the actor-producer is also excited about his big project Devara starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali KHan in the lead roles. Kalyan Ram is the producer of the big budget film.
