Anjali's 50th film Geethanjali Malli Vachindi first poster unvieled by the team on new year.
Actress Anjali gained acclaim for her role in the 2014 hit Geetanjali also starring Srinivasa Reddy. The actress is now set to reprise her character in the sequel, titled Geethanjali Malli Vachindi. The film also marks the actress's 50th film, making it noteworthy for the star.

Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is jointly bankrolled by the production houses MVV Cinemas and Kona Film Corporation, respectively. The big-budgeted horror comedy film's unique poster shows Anjali posing in a Bharatnatyam pose against the backdrop of a rusty staircase of a balcony that is covered with spider webs. The stunning poster is reminiscent of Jyothika assuming a similar stance in the critically acclaimed horror flick Chandramukhi starring Rajinikanth.
What do we know about 2005 Chandramukhi?
The Tamil psychological horror film was written and directed by P Vasu. The film is the official remake of Kannada film 2004 Apthamitra. The film featured Rajinikanth, Jyothika, and Prabhu in the principal roles.
The story of the film revolves around a woman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder that affects a family and a psychiatrist who intends to solve the case while risking his life. The film was an instant hit on its release and garnered much appreciation from the critics. It is worth noting that the poster of the two films have similarities but the film's story are poles apart.
If we speak about the 2014 film Geethanjali, the film is based on filmmakers being haunted by a woman who committed suicide.The film was remade in Kannada as Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna in 2016.

The producers also brought Malayalam actor Rahul Madhav on board for the film. Along with Anjali and Rahul Madhav, the film also boasts an alluring star cast including Brahmaji, Ali, Shakalaka Shankar, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, and Srinivas Reddy in the key roles. The team is also rooting to have a positive response from the audience.
The film is helmed by Shiva Turlapati. while the camera was handled by cinematographer Suhata Siddhartha and Pravin Lakkaraju composed the music for the film. Kona Venkat has penned the story. The team has not revealed much about the film whether it is a sequel to Geetanjali or a spiritual sequel.
