Telugu actor and producer Vishnu Manchu is currently preparing for his upcoming film Kannappa. He has been part of several notable films including, Astram, Game, Dhee, Doosukeltha, Rowdy and Anukshanam among others. The actor was recently embroiled in a legal matter when he filed a complaint against persons using his face and voice for unauthorised use. Delhi High Court grants Vishnu Manchu interim protection According to a report by LiveLaw, the Delhi High Court has recently passed a John Doe order to protect the personality rights of Indian actor and film producer Vishnu Manchu. Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju heard a petition on October 11. So far, 75 YouTube links and channels have been removed due to Vishnu’s warning and YouTube strikes. There has been a counter-strike by YouTubers and content creators who claim that their freedom of speech is being killed.Vishnu Manchu who is also the president of MAA (Movie Actors Association) cited that his name “Vishnu Manchu” has garnered a significant amount of goodwill in the film industry. Citing these reasons, he stated that nobody can utilise or appropriate his name or any aspect of his personality without his consent and authorisation.
