Mahesh Babu To Play Lord Krishna In Nephew Ashok Galla’s Devaki Nandana Vasudeva? Latter Reacts

Mahesh Babu is currently preparing for his next magnum opus film tentatively titled SSMB29. The movie will go on the floors next year in Hyderabad and the superstar is likely to give two years to the movie. Amid this, several reports speculated that she will be doing a cameo in his nephew Ashok Galla starrer Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. Now, Ashok has dismissed the reports and called them "absolutely false".

Mahesh Babu to not play Lord Krishna in Devaki Nandana Vasudeva

The reports claimed that Mahesh Babu will play the titular role of Lord Krishna in the movie. However, now, his nephew has rubbished the reports and apologised to his fans for the late reply. "My apologies for not responding immediately to the rumors about our superstar Mahesh mamayya doing a cameo role as lord Krishna in my film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva. This news is absolutely false! I’m also very disappointed that such misleading news has spread and again sorry for responding so late," he wrote on X.

Elaborating on his late replies, Ashok shared that he is shooting for his next movie in New York City due to which he was unable to clarify the reports. He further mentioned that it would have been his career-defining moment if Mahesh Babu had done a cameo in his movie. In fact, he would have been the first one to share such news.

He also requested his followers to refrain from spreading such rumours. "Finally I please request everyone to refrain from spreading such rumors and while this may disappoint a few, I am confident that the movie will not! Thank you and looking forward to the day we meet at theatres again," he concluded.

Helmed by Arjun Jandyala, the movie also stars Manasa Varanasi, former  Femina Miss India 2020. She also represented India at Miss World 2022 where she reached the top 13. The movie is slated to release on November 14.
