Thandel starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is one of the highly anticipated films that are lined up for release. The film has been making headlines for its intriguing plot, which is said to be inspired by true events. As new poster of Naga Chaitanya has been released.

Thandel to be first film for Naga Chaitanya post marriage with Sobhita Dhulipala

Amid the buzz of Thandel, Naga Chaitanya who had got engaged, will reportedly be tying the knot this year and amid this, another news is that this film will be first post his marriage with Sobhita Dhulipala. Makers too had shared a new poster on X and also announced the release date. Along with the poster, the caption read, “Get ready to sail from all the shores of love to the ocean full of emotions. #Thandel Grand release worldwide on February 7th, 2025.”

According to reports, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will be tying the knot on December 4. The wedding will reportedly take place in Hyderabad at Akkineni family-owned Annapurna Studios. For the unversed, the couple got engaged on August 8 in a private ceremony after dating for two years and will soon be husband and wife. The wedding festivities have already commenced with Sobhita and her family marking the beginning of celebrations with Pasupu Danchandam or the haldi grinding ceremony.

All about Thandel

Naga Chaitanya's film Thandel revolves around the lives of the fishermen in Srikakulam. It is based on true incidents in 2018 involving fishermen from the community. However, during one of their trips, they drifted off into  Pakistan  's borders and got caught.

Revolving around the fishing community, the film will also explore a love story and reportedly have some action-packed sequences. Thandel will have a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, offering the moviegoers a diverse cinematic experience. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad music, Shamdat handling the cinematography, and National-award-winning Naveen Nooli is the editor. Srinagendra Tangala heads the art department.
