Naga Babu’s daughter Niharika Konidela is busy with her upcoming promotion venture Committee Kurrollu. In a recent interaction, she opened up about the rumoured tiff with Allu Arjun and how because of it has created a huge uproar within the families.

Reason of the rift with Allu Arjun

This year’s elections in Andhra Pradesh was important for Pawan Kalyan’s family. His brother Naga Babu, Niharika Konidela’s father, and the whole family supported his candidacy. However, Allu Arjun chose to support YSRC candidate which drew flak from everyone.

In an interview with M9, Niharika was asked how did the family react when Allu Arjun supported YSR. She replied, “We didn’t actually talk too much about it. We didn’t speak about it at home because everyone has their own reasons. Politically, religiously, spiritually, everyone has a choice to do what they want.”

She further said, “For me, it’s always family first and I can only speak for myself.”

Pawan Kalyan is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Later, Allu Arjun clarified regarding this matter. He issued a statement in May, which read, “Firstly I want to clarify that I’m not affiliated with any political party. I remain neutral and support my people, regardless of their political affiliations. This includes my uncle Pawan Kalyan, whom I’ll always stand by, along with my friend Ravi and my father-in-law, Mr Reddy. I made a promise to my friend, Mr. Ravi to support him, but I couldn’t fulfil it last time. To Keep my word, this time I went to Nandyal to support him."
