Karthik gets surprised after fans join him to sing Chilipiga from Orange
At a concert in America, playback singer Karthik performed the popular song Chilipiga from Orange. The audience quickly joined in, prompting Karthik to signal his drummer to stop playing. The crowd then carried on the song a cappella, creating a magical moment. Karthik's reaction was one of genuine amazement, as he folded his hands in disbelief and looked out at the crowd. After the impromptu performance, both Karthik and the audience burst into applause and cheers. He later shared this memorable experience on his Instagram account.
What do we know about the film Orange?
Orange, a Telugu film released in 2010, starred Ram Charan, Genelia Deshmukh, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, and Naga Babu Konidela. Despite high expectations, the film did not resonate with audiences at the time. Its themes of young love, relationship dynamics, commitment issues, and facing fears were perhaps ahead of their time. However, over the years, Orange has gained a cult following. A recent re-release saw fans flocking to theaters, celebrating the film like a concert.
Directed and written by Bhaskar, known for his previous hits Bommarilu and Parugu, Orange was initially a disappointment. After its release, Bhaskar directed only two more films: Ongole Gittha in 2013 and Most Eligible Bachelor in 2021. He is currently working on a new project titled Jack, featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda.
