Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, is easily one of the most awaited films of the year. The ambitious film has seen several delays over the year. Initially slated for a September 28 release, the film was unceremoniously postponed with the audience left hanging for a plausible update. There was also news of the film embarking on a new schedule for shooting after a much publicised film wrap. However, Salaar appears to be well on its way to a successful release, come end December.

A recent source-based report reveals the extent to which the action has been made to look and feel authentic with everything down to the last detail being planned. The report stated, “Over 750 different vehicles including jeeps, tanks, trucks, etc were procured for the shoot of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire as there is a lot of on-ground action in the movie. It was as big as any big war sequence of any Hollywood movie.”

Led by Prabhas, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan.
