Sandeep Reddy Vanga opens about his next film with Allu Arjun, Prabhas

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently awaiting the release of his film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. The movie will hit the big screen on December 1 and will mark the director’s second Hindi project after Kabir Singh, which was a remake of his own film Arjun Reddy in Telugu. In a recent interview, the filmmaker spoke about his future collaborations with Allu Arjun and Prabhas. 

Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Bhushan Kumar talk about their future collaborations 

Producer Bhushan Kumar has collaborated with Sandeep Reddy for the upcoming film Animal. The producer-director duo will further collaborate on several films like Spirit and the untitled film Allu Arjun. In an interview with Pinkvilla, producer Bhushan Kumar talked about the upcoming film Spirit, the work on which has already begun. He said, “I am very excited for Spirit. He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) has told me the lead character and it’s a very interesting part for Prabhas.” 

He also spoke about the film featuring Allu Arjun. The producer opined, “The Allu Arjun film will be again different. It will be Sandeep’s style of filmmaking with Allu Arjun.” Director Sandeep Vanga also spoke about the upcoming films and collaborations with the superstars. He said, “They (Spirit and the untitled Allu Arjun film) will have a new world, new emotions and new drama. There is no point to make a routine film with a big star.” 

Sandeep Reddy Vanga says Ranbir Kapoor was against using ‘superstar’ tag for him 

In the same conversation, Ranbir Kapoor also shared how Ranbir Kapoor was against referring to him as a ‘superstar’ on Animal poster. He said, Ranbir never wanted that; very clearly he never wanted that. I wanted to put that on the audio teaser only, but he said, 'Please don't do that, I don't want that.' But for the poster, I convinced him because I said, 'Forget about what you're feeling; it's my feeling. I feel you're a superstar, I feel putting 'superstar' on the poster.”
