Sobhita Dhulipala Is Hot...: Nagarjuna's Old Video Talking About Would Be Daughter-In-Law Goes Viral

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who kept their relationship secret, got engaged on August 8. The first photos of the couple were unveiled by Telugu star and Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna on his social media handle. Amid this, an old video has resurfaced online in which the veteran actor is praising his now daughter-in-law.

Nagarjuna calls Sobhita Dhulipala 'hot'

The old video is from Adivi Sesh starrer Goodachari's success meet in 2018, in which Sobhita played a leading lady. In the video shared on Reddit, Nagarjuna can be heard saying, "Ok Sobhita Dhulipala…she was so good. I mean I should not say it like this. She was hot in the film. I mean there is something that is just so attractive about her.” Adivi Sesh and other artists who were also present at the event simply smiled and clapped.

However, this didn't go down well with the netizens and they slammed the actor for his comments on Sobhita. A user wrote, "I should not say it like this She was HOTT  Yeah, No shit sherlock. And people are laughing at the back." Another wrote, "Babes sometimes its better to not let ur intrusive thoughts win." The third user wrote, "Lmao. He knows what he’s about to say is inappropriate but goes ahead and says it anyway."

Nagarjuna wishes a 'lifetime of hapiness' to the newly engaged couple Chaitanya-Sobhita

Taking to his X handle, he shared a set of two photos from the ceremony and penned a note expressing his happiness. In the images, Nagarjuna, Chaitanya and Sobhita are adorning traditional ensembles. His note reads, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are  overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita were rumoured to be dating since 2022 and remained tight-lipped whenever asked to clarify the speculation.
