Spirit: Animal producer Pranay Reddy Vanga shares details about Prabhas' character in Sandeep's film
In a recent interview producer Pranay Reddy Vanga spoke in detail about Prabhas' character in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film Spirit.
Prabhas and Sandeep Redddy Vanga have been the hottest topic in the entertainment industry in December due to the success of their films Salaar and Animal, respectively. While both the films are roaring loud at the box office, the buzz around the collaboration between the actor and director for a whole new project Spirit has made several headlines over the days. Adding more excitement to the news, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga's brother Pranay Reddy Vanga has revealed interesting details about the film and also an update about when it will go on the floors.
Pranay Reddy Vanga shares details about Spirit
Pranay Reddy Vanga, who is the producer of two of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Arjun Reddy and Animal, recently in an interview with Pinkvilla revealed interesting details about the Prabhas starrer Spirit, which too will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Pranay. The producer revealed Prabhas will be seen in the police's avatar for the first time in his career. He also revealed that so far only Prabhas has been finalised for the project. Talking about Prabhas' character, Pranay said the Baahubali star will mostly be seen in "an angry young man's role", similar to Sandeep's previous films.
What more do we know about Spirit?
Talking further about the project, Pranay Reddy said Spirit will on floors after another six months, which means in the second half of the year 2024. Revealing about the film's cast, Pranay confirmed that Prabhas is the only actor who has been officially finalised for the film. Earlier, there were rumours that Animal star Triptii Dimri will join the cast of Spirit.
What's next for Prabhas, Sandeep Reddy Vanga?
Both Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are basking in the success of their respective films Salaar and Animal. While Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri hit theaters on December 1, is nearing the Rs 600 crore mark in India. Filmmaker Prashanth Neel's Salaar, starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in just three days of its release worldwide. On the work front, Prabhas has projects like Salaar 2 and Spirit in his kitty. Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has Animal Park, Spirit and another untitled project with Pushpa star Allu Arjun in the pipeline.
