At the trailer launch for the film, Varun Tej spoke candidly about the vision they had in mind for the film. One of the most insightful revelations he made about Gandeevadhari Arjuna was the fact that it was much more than a run-of-the-mill action film. Tej shared that he felt drawn to the film's script as it was addressing the problems of a post-pandemic world.

Besides this, Tej also revealed that majority of the film has been shot across Europe and America in accordance with the plot of the film. Gandeevadhari Arjuna also serves as a first for Varun Tej on the account that he has not played a bodyguard in any of his previous films. Tej further shared, "The movie is full of emotions, actions and a blend of everything. The film is about the problems happening in the country, and one will definitely wonder about many things after seeing the film."
