How To Make Tofu At Home
This DIY tofu recipe demonstrates two low-budget, simple methods for making tofu from soft to firm potatoes, which can increase calorie burn during digestion.

Soak 2 cups of dried soybeans in water for 8-12 hours or overnight, and the beans will double in size. Image: Freepik

Soak beans in water and blend them with 8 cups of fresh water in batches until smooth, then use this mixture to make soy milk. Image: Freepik

Strain the cooked mixture using a cheesecloth or nut milk bag, separating the soy milk from the pulp, to obtain the strained liquid. Image: Freepik

Heat soy milk until hot but not boiling. Add lemon juice or vinegar, stir gently, and let sit for 15-20 minutes for curd to form. Image: Freepik

Form curd by placing it in a tofu mould or strainer lined with cheesecloth, and press it for 20-30 minutes to drain excess water. Image: Freepik
