Earlier on September 23, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Dilbagh Singh, has exposed Pakistan's role in promoting terror in the state. In an interview with Republic TV, he said that 'Twitter accounts and WhatsApp groups of the terrorists are managed by Pakistan'. When asked about how will secure the moral of the forces, he said:
Moral of the forces is very high:
"Let me tell you, the moral of the forces is very high. Over the last two weeks, you must have seen the number of successful operations be it Jammu or Bandipur. Three successful operations. The one in which Jaish-e-Mohammed militants crossed over from Jammu sector and they were engaged somewhere close to Jammu-Srinagar highway. The operation continued for twenty hours and all the militants were neutralized. Then you had another incident in South Kashmir wherein five militants of Hizbul were killed in an encounter and the third incident that concluded yesterday where LeT group and they had reportedly infiltrated South Kashmir area".
He further highlighted the work done for the welfare of the officers:
"Our boys are strong. They are taking care of their duties and their morale is high. We are at their back. A few days back the state government has enhanced the welfare. We wish our boys good and healthy life but we are working in an environment in which we have to engage in violent. Our colleagues lose lives during the operation and sometimes even at the hand of militants. We are thinking on further incentives and central government is thing further. The work done by our forces is highly commendable", he added.
