Netizens are impressed with a cop in Kolkata as he has been managing the crowd effortlessly at a pandal during the continuing Durga Puja celebrations. Kolkata Police has shared the video on Facebook and Twitter and it has gone viral. In the short video, Constable Elias Miah posted at a pandal in the West Bengal capital is seen balancing himself on a bamboo barricade. He blew his whistle and directed the devotees towards the puja mandap in a systematic manner.

The video has been viewed over three lakh times on Facebook and being shared multiple times as netizens praised Elias on Twitter as well as Facebook. A user tweeted, "That is now of the beauty of India. That is one of the scenes most liked. One person busy celebrating their festival, others providing the best of their service without being worried that I can't celebrate it." About the festival

Dashain, also known as Vijay Dashami, is a major Hindu festival celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. The festival is celebrated to remember Lord Ram's victory over Ravana, marking the triumph of good over evil. The day also marks the culmination of Navratri and Durga Puja. People offer prayers at temples of Goddess Durga, prepare feasts and fly kites during the festival.
