The NSU in the meanwhile opens a brand new campus in Clearwater, near Tampa. This campus was just built in 17 months. The Patels eventually aim to set up three medical colleges that are to be located in rural areas. The students are also to receive their training in these medical colleges. Two of these medical colleges are said to offer Indian degrees with one offering a US degree. Patel has also planned to host live interactions between Tampa and India. The Patels have further envisaged bringing American professors and positioning them in India. At the same time, bringing Indian professors to the USA to train the trainers to academically produce students of the same calibre as those graduating in the USA.
Furthermore, Kiran Patel has also announced his future plans of starting medical colleges in Zambia. Patel envisages a future where he will extend his medical contributions to Africa. The US currently has two Nova institutions named after the Patels producing 625 graduates and India providing another 300. Kiran Patel has stated that the goal of the Indian-American doctor duo is to produce doctors all around the world to come forward and help people in a potentially 'borderless' world.
