Actress turned politician Khushbu Sundar slaps a man for misbehaving with her at a rally in Bengaluru

A viral video of South Indian actress turned politician Khushbu Sundar who was campaigning for the Congress-JD(S) candidate Rizwan Arshad in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar area on Wednesday, was grobed by a man in public. Sundar slapped him for his misbehaviour.

It is clear from the video that Khushbu who was walking alongside Shantinagar MLA NA Haris and Bengaluru Central candidate Rizwan Arshad suddenly turned around and slapped a man who was standing behind her.

Sundar's Twitter is flooded with praises and bravery that she showed at the rally. Replying to one user she wrote -

Talking to an online portal, Khushbu said revealed that the man groped her once but she ignored and turned around but when he groped her for the second time, that’s when she turned and slapped him.

Bengaluru Central candidate Rizwan Arshad spoke to the media and said that the man who misbehaved with Khushbu was pushed back immediately by the police and was taken away. Talking to the same online portal, he said that it was an unfortunate incident and they don't know who the man is but has asked the police to take action against him.

However, Indiranagar Police have informed the media that no FIR has been registered in the case and the man was left with a stern warning.

For those unaware, Khushbu Sundar joined the Indian National Congress on November 26, 2014. She is the National Spokesperson since March 24, 2015. She is also one of the star campaigners for the Congress in the Bengaluru Central area.
