Despite his strong views on politics, Anupam Kher is first an actor, and only then the husband of a Parliamentarian. Yet, when the veteran held his #AskAnupam session on Twitter, he was flooded with questions surrounding politics. The 64-year-old too was surprised when a user asked him which government will come to power. He also took a dig at Congress by saying earlier cash was found in trains and today facilities are being provided.
Kher asked his followers to send him questions as a part of his #AskAnupam session on Twitter. One of the first questions posed to the actor was, what the country is looking forward to when the Lok Sabha election results will be announced, ‘Which government is going to form the government?’ The veteran replied at least this was not a question he anticipated. His answer could also be an indication of his confidence about the victory of the ruling party, which his actor-wife Kirron Kher belongs to.
He even sweetly trolled a user for his fake identity.
The actor also answered a question about BJP failing to 'fulfil' its promises made in 2014 in its manifesto. The actor courteously replied that everyone was entitled to their own point of view.
Kher held his #AskAnupam session while he was travelling to Chandigarh via the Shatabdi Express.
A user asked him what the difference between the Congress-led Railways before 2014 vis-a-vis the current situation was. Kher stated that earlier cash was found in the trains and today, facilities are found.
The actor, it seems, is set to campaign for actor-wife Kirron Kher, the sitting MP representing BJP from Chandigarh, who is contesting once again. The 64-year-old had campaigned for the Parliamentarian once. Chandigarh goes to polls in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
