'We will try best to get non-BJP Govt in Haryana': Mallikarjun Kharge
With the counting underway for election results, Senior Congress leader and former Lok Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge assailed the BJP government and their agendas
Ahead of the election results, Senior Congress leader and former Lok Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge assailed the BJP government. Not willing to give up without a fight, the Congress is seen inching towards bridging the gap with the Bhartiya Janata Party in Haryana as per the early trends.
Speaking on the same, Kharge said, "This indicates that people have got a different opinion about the BJP. People thought that they (BJP party) will redress the grievances of people. They will help when people are in trouble and that is not there. So naturally, people are shifting away from BJP."
''Task is to keep BJP out of Power''
Further lashing out at the BJP and its ideology, Kharge said, "Today the task is to keep BJP out of power because they will use all tactics. Yesterday only in Jharkhand, they have taken 10-12 MLAs. Similar they did in Maharashtra and Haryana. This is not the way to strengthen democracy. Propagate your ideology and get the vote."
Speaking about the latest trends in voting, he stated that they will try their best to get a non-BJP government and repeatedly asserted to keep BJP out of power as it is autocratic and is destroying democracy along with dividing the people. "We will see at 4:00 PM after getting a clear picture. We will try our best to get a non-BJP government and as of now, we have got a good number. We have got this result in a very short time. Grassroot leaders have worked really well and important role in this result."
