One of the world's oldest YouTuber, 107-year-old Mastanamma from southern India, has passed away. She was shot to fame on the internet for her cooking, which consisted of local and unusual dishes made from scratch. Her YouTube channel, Country Foods, reflects more than a million subscribers with hundreds of cooking videos, including one on her iconic watermelon chicken.

The channel, managed by her grandson and his friend, launched in 2016 and became an instant hit. In her videos, she would often cook in an open field with minimal cooking equipment and cutlery. She would use nails to peel vegetables, and an old knife to chop them and once cooked, the food was served on a traditional southern Indian banana leaf.

From unique watermelon chicken to melt in mouth desserts, here are top 5 recipes from her 'Country Foods' You Tube that you should definitely try:

1. Watermelon chicken:

This was the recipe that made her a YouTube sensation. Presently, the video has more than 11 million views. In the video, Amma uses a fresh watermelon, removes the pulp from the fruit and cooks the chicken curry inside the 'Watermelon utensil'. Click here to watch the video:
