Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta Wedding: Princess Diya Kumar, daughter of the last Maharaja of Jaipur, escorted by Nita Ambani at the grand wedding

Reliance Chairperson Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's son, Akash Ambani will tie the knot with Shloka Mehta, the daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta, in a grand ceremony on March 9 in Mumbai.

The Ambani family welcomed Princess Diya Kumar, the daughter of the last Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Bhawani Singh and Padmini Devi.  Princess Diya Kumari is an Indian politician and Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Sawai Madhopur constituency. She is also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Nita Ambani was captured with her Royal guest as she escorted her to the venue. The Royal beauty was seen wearing a sky blue embroided saree as she posted next to the epitome of elegant Nita Ambani.

Moreover, The VIP guest former British PM Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair also arrived at the venue. Tony Blair was spotted wearing a classic black blazer and an ocean blue pocket square whereas the Cherie Blair was wearing a pretty peach-pink dress. The couple was escorted by Anil Ambani.

The wedding festivities of this royal affair began on February 23, 2019 with a grand bash in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor among others. The celebrations took place at the Badrutt Palace.

The celebrations in Switzerland saw performances by Chris Martin of Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.

A private musical night at Antilia, followed by the Mala and Mehendi function, a Sangeet ceremony and Anna Seva at the Jio World Centre, were also hosted by the Ambani family.
