Chandrayaan 2: Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher say, 'We shall overcome'
Chandrayaan 2: Bollywood celebrities including Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher, and rapper Badshah post morale-boosting message for the ISRO scientists.

The mission that started from July 22 with the launch of the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft achieved one milestone after another in a phased manner. However, the Vikram module lost contact minutes before the crucial touchdown on the lunar surface in the early hours of Saturday. The landing module, which was supposed to carry out various tests on the lunar soil, completed the rough braking phase as planned and entered the phase of fine braking phase till the altitude of 2.1 km.
Responding to the big event, Bollywood celebrities including Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher, and rapper Badshah took to their Twitter handle to post a morale-boosting message for the ISRO scientists. Badshah wrote that it was the only communication that was lost and not hope. Celebrities highlighted the fact that they are proud of ISRO and 'we shall over come'. Read their tweets -

PM Modi's message for ISRO scientists
Speaking to the ISRO scientists at the monitoring centre in Bengaluru, PM Modi asked them to be courageous and said that the country is proud of them. Adding that there are ups and downs in life, PM Modi appealed them to hope for the best.
"Be courageous. I am always there with you. There are ups and down in life. This is not a small achievement what you did. India is proud of all of you. Your hard work has taught us a lot. The scientists have told us that if the communication is established once again, then it will keep on giving us many things. Hope for the best. You have done a good job. We will keep learning and moving ahead. I am with you wholeheartedly," PM Modi said speaking to the ISRO scientists.
