Novelist Chetan Bhagat has tweeted photos of something that will make every Indian's heart fill with pride.
He posted photos of Katra railway station, all of which showed that the place was so clean that floors shimmered under the light. The station's cleanliness was next to nothing and resembled nothing like most railway stations.
Katra station is the railway's entry point to reach the pilgrimage site Vaishnodevi.
"The shiny clean floors in the pictures are not at an airport or a station abroad. This is the railway station in Katra. One of the cleanest stations in India, at one of the holiest places on the planet!" Bhagat said in his tweet.
People reacted to his tweet complimenting and congratulating the Railway Ministry.
Chetan Bhagat seems to keenly document his travels. In June, he had hailed the Shatabdi Express' Anubhuti class as the best product by the Indian Railways. He even advised people to skip the Railways and take the train.
The Indian Railways has many things for us to look forward to. From the Train 18 to the soon-to-be-unveiled lounge at Tirupati Railway station.
