DISGUSTING | Flyer claims cockroach found in breakfast in Bhopal-Mumbai Air India plane
An Air India flier who was on the Bhopal-Mumbai flight AI-634 on Saturday has claimed that there was a cockroach in his breakfast which was served to him by the airline. As per reports, Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan, the AI flier, has said there was a cockroach in the sambar and when he informed the staff on board the Air India plane, they did not pay heed to him.

An Air India flier who was on the Bhopal-Mumbai flight AI-634 on Saturday has claimed that there was a cockroach in his breakfast which was served to him by the airline.
As per reports, Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan, the AI flier, has said there was a cockroach in the sambar and when he informed the staff on board the Air India plane, they did not pay heed to him.
He added that he objected to the food being served to others but his pleas went unheard.
Rajendra Malhotra, the manager at Air India denied receiving any complaint in Bhopal.
Allegations of being food with questionable hygiene have been made against the airline in the past.
In 2017, a flier, Harinder Baweja had tweeted to Air India saying there were cockroaches on food plates at your Delhi Lounge for biz and first class passengers.
The airline apologised for the incident on the micro blogging site and said the catering services provider had been asked to take corrective measures.
“We are sorry to hear this, Ms Harinder…We have alerted the agency managing lounge at T3 (Terminal 3). Necessary corrective measures are being taken immediately. We deeply apologise for this incident,” it responded in a series of tweets.
An airline source said that Air India subsidiary Hotel Corporation of India, which manages Centaur group of hotels, provides catering services at its lounge.
Rahul Raghuvanshi who goes with the Twitter handle @BostonNewsHound, had alleged in 2016 that during his Air India flight to Chicago, he had found a cockroach in his meal.
Taking a serious note of the incident, the carrier has also served notice to the caterer concerned. The incident happened in the Chicago-bound flight from Hyderabad via New Delhi.
tweeted about it along with a picture of the meal having a dead cockroach, following which Air India apologised for the inconvenience.
