CRPF called out fake news:
Even as the government, the Home Ministry, the state Police in Jammu and Kashmir and Republic TV ground report shows that there has been absolute peace in Jammu and Kashmir, mischievious elements are continuously propagating fake news. Calling out the fake news peddled regarding the situation of Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370, now CRPF has said that these are 'baseless and untrue'. The CRPF clarified that security forces are working for bonhomie in the state. Earlier in the day, Republic TV showed pictures from the ground in which security forces were seen celebrating Eid with locals. Additionally, NSA Ajit Doval is also celebrating Eid with locals in Srinagar. The CRPF spokeperson also called out the attempt to show that Indian forces are divided.
