Indian Army carries out a Joint Manoeuvre in the Donguz Range
The ADGPI uploaded a video of the Indian Army carrying out a joint manoeuvre under air support of Russian air assets on Saturday in the Donguz Range, Russia.

The Twitter handle of Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) uploaded a video of the Indian Army carrying out a joint manoeuvre under air support of Russian air assets. In the operation, several tanks can be seen in a deserted barren land in the Donguz range with numerous helicopters flying past. This is the Tsentr 2019 exercise which was aimed to increase cooperation, enhance interoperability among the armies to help counter terrorism and provide security in the Central Asian region. This operation for the Ex-Tsentr 2019 event in Russia aimed to conduct joint military exercise.

Tsentr 2019 Military Exercise in Russia
The Tsentr 2019 military exercise has been scheduled between September 9 and September 23 for two weeks. It is a part of the exercises that form part of the Russian Armed Forces' annual training cycle. This joint military exercise will carried out with India, China, and Pakistan a range of military assets including ground and aerial assets. The Donguz Ranges in the Russian mainland was used for the operation and can also be seen in the Twitter video uploaded by ADGPI. The 2019 edition of the exercise will consist of two modules where the first module will include counter-terror operations, repelling airstrikes, reconnaissance operations and defensive measures and the second will focus on offensive operations.
Indian Army's arrival in Russia
On September 9, the Indian Army received a 'Bread and Salt' ceremony upon the contingent's arrival. The Multilateral Exercise is organized by the Central Military Commission of Russia an aim to counter the threat of International Terrorism. The mega-event will last till September 23 at Donguz training ranges in Russia's Orenburg. The participation of India and Pakistan in the Anti-Terror Drill in Russia comes at a time when the bilateral relations between the two nations are at an all-time low post the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir on August 5.
