Kamlesh Tiwari's murder case intensifies after one more arrest
The UP Police on Thursday arrested another person in connection with the murder case of the late Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari in Bareilly, UP.

The UP Police on Thursday arrested another person in connection with the murder case of the Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari in Bareilly. The new accused who has been arrested has been identified as Kamran. He is allegedly behind aiding the two others accused Moinuddin and Ashfaq in committing the crime, the police said.
Two earlier accused in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case
The two people who have been earlier accused of killing Kamlesh Tiwari are the 34-year-old Ashfaq Hussain Jakir Hussain Shaikh and 27-year-old Moinuddin Khurshid Pathan. They were arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) from the Gujarat-Rajasthan border on Tuesday. Six people have been arrested in this case till now, it includes, the aforementioned three people along with Rashid Pathan, Faizan Sheikh, and Maulana Mohsin Sheikh. These three were taken in the police custody last week in connection with the murder case. The Hindu Samaj Leader, Kamlesh Tiwari was shot in the Naka area of Lucknow on October 18 and succumbed to his injuries at a hospital during treatment.
Wife declared as the president of the party
The members of the Hindu Samaj party chose the wife of Kamlesh Tiwari as the party president after his death. A senior party official Rajesh Tripathi stated that she officially assumed the charge at the party office in Lucknow on Saturday, October 26. Thereafter, they will address the media at the Lucknow Press Club from 2 pm to 4 pm. After assuming the office Kiran Tiwari accused the police of not providing enough security to her husband. She also alleged the government of 'trying to silence her'.
Kiran Tiwari at a press conference in Lucknow said, "We have doubts on the police action. Police's negligence is to be blamed for my husband's murder. I request the government that the accused should be hanged to death at the earliest”.
