Bengaluru city witnessed heavy rainfall on Thursday. As of 1.30 pm, the city recorded 4.2 mm rainfall. The Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli registered 3.8 mm rainfall. "Under the influence of the cyclonic circulations, a low-pressure area is likely to develop over the southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during the next 12 hours. It is most likely to move west-northwestwards, concentrate into a depression, and reach near north Tamil Nadu coast by the early morning of November 11," the Centre had said.
