Lucknow city is gearing up for the celebrations of Dussehra. Like all other cities, Lucknow, too, celebrates the day by burning effigies and fireworks. The biggest Dussehra celebrations this year is to be held at the Aishbagh Ramleela Ground. Reportedly, the event will have the attendance of many special guests. Reportedly, Uttar Pradesh's Governor Anandiben Patel will be at the Aishbagh Ramleela Ground for the Dussehra celebrations. Accompanying Anandiben Patel will be Rajasthan Governor, Kalraj Mishra. A Rath Yatra planned for all youngsters
A leading political party has planned a Rath Yatra around the city. The procession aims at spreading awareness among youth. The Rath Yatra, to be conducted on Tuesday morning, will spread across 42 kilometres. The event is organised by a leading political party and aims at evoking religious sentiments among the youth. Reportedly, around 500 cars and more than 1000 bikes will be used by people on this journey. The journey is alleged to pass through 44 intersections in the city. The event is said to end at 3:00 pm. Reports suggest that the political party is planning to start a national level procession in the future.
