Netizens hail Assam Policewomen for attending TET aspirants' babies

Policewomen who were deployed to guard the examination hall went beyond the call of duty by taking care of little ones while their moms sat for TET Exam.

Two policewomen from Assam Police are being lauded on social media for taking care of babies while their mothers gave the TET exam. While entering the exam hall, the TET aspirant mothers handed over their babies to two policewomen who took care of them. The picture was shared by Assam Police with the caption, "Mother is a verb".

Motherhood and taking care of little ones is hard enough without having to worry about giving a test, but these two policewomen went beyond the call of duty by taking care of the lil' ones while their moms were giving the TET Exam.

Going beyond the call of duty

This display of exemplary motherhood took place at Don Bosco High School in Mangaldoi, Assam. Before entering the exam hall where the aspirants weren't even allowed to take pencil boxes they handed over their babies to these two policewomen. The picture was shared by Assam Police with the caption- "Mother is a verb".

This picture of the incredibly sweet gesture instantly went viral and the internet couldn't stop praising the women who went beyond the call of duty. The reactions below speak for themselves:

The Teacher's Eligibility Test (TET) was conducted on November 10th all over Assam. This test is the basic requirement for teachers to be able to teach in India from class I to VIII. The examination is divided into two, the first being for those who want to teach from class I to V, the second being for those who want to teach from class VI to VIII.
