Odisha Govt sanctions Rs 17.5 crores for more than 550 police stations
The Odisha Government on Monday sanctioned an annual contingency fund of Rs. 17.5 crore for 587 police stations in the state under the 'MO Sarkar' initiative.

The Odisha Government on Monday sanctioned an annual contingency fund of Rs. 17.5 crore for 587 police stations in the state under the 'MO Sarkar' initiative for improving the efficiency of Police Personnel. All 44 police stations under the Bhubaneswar - Cuttack Commissionerate Police will get Rs 40,000 each a month, 142 police station in urban areas Rs 30,000 each and 351 police stations in rural areas Rs 20,000 each per month, a statement by the Chief Minister's Office said.

"Four women police station, five traffic police station, fifteen railway police station, four cyber police station, economic offence police station, Special task Force police station, Human Right Protection Cell police station and one crime branch police station will receive Rs 20,000 per month," the release further aded.
Moreover,44 police stations of Bhubaneshwar will get Rs 40,000 each month,142 police stations in urban areas are set to receive Rs 30,000 each. Police stations in rural areas will get Rs. 20,000 each month. The 'Mo Sarkar' initiative was launched by the Odisha Government as a feedback centric programme collected from public and Government officials.
Earlier, the Odisha Government on Friday has decided to reflect the implementation of 5T charter and "Mo Sarkar" initiative in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) of different categories of Government employees, as per official notification.
"Government have already decided to accord 20 per cent weightage for the performance of government employees in the implementation of 5T components. Out of the allotted weightage of 20 per cent for 5T Charter, 5 per cent will be assigned in respect of performance under Mo Sarkar initiative," the Special Secretary of state said.
Odisha Government launches Healthcare Projects Worth Rs 400 Crore
The Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced health care projects of around Rs. 400 crores for the State's district hospitals. The State Government will also provide Rs. 15 lakh to four 'Rogi Kalyan Samities' from the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the patients. Rs. 10 lakh will also be spent on promotion of blood donation activities under the new initiative. Doctors will also benefit from the initiative as proper accommodations will be provided to doctors of Malkangiri District. Detailed planning has also been approved for a composite hospital with 500 beds at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and hospital. This initiative will also provide 200 beds and three ambulances.
