Odisha: Sewa Express flagged off connecting Bhubaneswar with Nayagarh

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday flagged off a daily express train between Odisha's Nayagarh town and Bhubaneswar via remote control from New Delhi. The Railway Minister flagged off the Sewa Express in the presence of Union Petroleum and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, and Minister of State for Railways, Suresh Angadi. The inaugural run of the train was flagged off from Bhubaneswar in the presence of Odisha's Science and Technology Minister Ashok Chandra Panda and MPs Pinaki Mishra and Aparajita Mishra.

About Sewa Express
The regular service of the train will commence from Wednesday, an East Coast Railway (ECoR) official said. The train will leave Bhubaneswar at 6.40 pm and Nayagarh Town at 8.45 pm. In the return direction, the train will leave Nayagarh Town at 6.30 am and reach Bhubaneswar at 9 am, he said. The dignitaries at the programme in Bhubaneswar said the introduction of the train fulfils a long-pending demand of the people. ECoR General Manager Vidya Bhushan lauded the state and the central governments for their cooperation in implementing several developmental projects in Odisha.
