Over 5,000 private health care facilities flouting biomedical waste disposal rules in Bihar
The Bihar State Pollution Control Board has said over 5,000 private health care facilities in the state are not complying with the Centre’s Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016. The state’s pollution watchdog said a total of 5,226 private health care facilities are flouting norms and disposing of their hazardous medical waste into general waste.
