Piyush Goyal reacts to Kunal Kohli's 'wonderful' time on train journey

For a majority of Indians, inter-city travel is always via a train journey. The Railways remains the first choice for the citizens belonging to the lower middle-class and middle-class sections of the society. One would assume that the celebrities always travel by flights due to their hectic schedules, but this has been proved wrong of late. Recently, all the stars of Housefull 4 had gone from Mumbai to Delhi via a train journey for the promotions of the movie. The journey had made headlines, for the stars spending almost a day in the train, but also for all the fun activities they were a part of, on board. The latest celebrity to do so was Kunal Kohli, who travelled by the Rajdhani Express from Mumbai to Delhi. The Hum Tum director was so impressed with the ‘wonderful exprerience’ on board, that included a ‘clean’ coach, ‘good’ food and ‘excellent’ service by the ‘polite’ staff, that he thanked the Railways and the Union Minister Piyush Goyal. The Railways Minister also responded, expressing his pleasure in ‘reciprocating’ the ‘memories’ he about the director's films. Sharing his wish to see his family travel on Railways again, Goyal added that providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the commuters is always on top-most priority of the Railways.

On Wednesday, Kunal Kohli shared a selfie from his journey on the Rajdhani Express, along with his family. He captioned the post, "Thank you @WesternRly @PiyushGoyal for a wonderful experience on #RajdhaniExpress #mumbaitoDelhi clean n good food. Excellent service by cordial polite staff. #bharatdekho #railgaadi best way to travel in india #discoverindia .” 

Piyush Goyal was pleased with the praise and replied, “Your movies have given us memories that we cherish. I am glad that Railways had the opportunity to reciprocate. Railways is continuously striving to ensure a comfortable & enjoyable experience for all our passengers. We look forward to having you and your family onboard again.”

Akshay’s praise for Railways 

Before Kunal Kohli, Akshay Kumar had thanked the Railways for his journey on Housefull 4 Express.  He had then written, "A big thank you to the railways for making #Housefull4Express possible. Couldn’t be more glad to be a part of a journey full of excitement, joy, and entertainment with the #Housefull4 gang." At that time, Piyush Goyal had also urged the filmmakers to similarly use the Railways for promotions.

Meanwhile, Kunal Kohli is known for his two superhits, both for Yash Raj Films. One is Hum Tum, that had fetched National Award for Saif Ali Khan. His other hit was Aamir Khan-Kajol's Fanaa. As per reports, he is making a film based on the Ramayana.
