PM Modi gets a 'planetary portrait' Rakshabandhan gift from his Rakhi sister Qamar Mohsin Shaikh
Depicting India's universal stature due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Qamar Mohsin Shaikh - PM Modi's Rakhi sister gifted him a portrait made by her husband. She also visited the Prime Minister's official residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg and tied him a 'Rakhi' on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

She also visited the Prime Minister's official residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg and tied him a 'Rakhi' on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The portrait displays the Prime Minister waving his hand with the Earth in the background. The moon is also depicted close to the Earth, with a hint of the Tricolour implying the impending arrival of Chandrayaan-2 at the lunar surface. Other planets resembling Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Mars, and the Sun are seen in the starry violet background.
PM Modi celebrates Raksha Bandhan at 7 LKM
Meanwhile, PM Modi celebrated the holy festival of Raksha Bandhan with young girls and women coming from all walks of life trying Rakhi on his hands. In a video montage shared by news agency ANI, PM Modi can be seen celebrating the festival of Raksha Bandhan with the young schoolgirls and women from across the country at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister had taken to Twitter to extend greetings to the nation on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Union Ministers celebrate 'Raksha Bandhan'
In a festive gesture, Union Minister MoS Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, on Thursday tied a 'Rakhi' to Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
Similarly, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandben Patel tied Rakhi to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
