President Kovind in Jharkhand
A day before his birthday, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the 33rd convocation of Ranchi University. At the convocation, Ram Nath Kovind said that Jharkhand possesses not only 40% of the country's minerals but also has substantial human resources.
Message on Harmony with Nature
During the convocation at Ranchi University, President Ram Nath Kovind emphasised on learning from tribals on how to live in harmony with nature. Praising the developmental and social welfare programmes of the central and the state governments, the President said that it was from Jharkhand that the world's biggest health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat, was launched. Pension schemes for farmers and traders were also launched from here, he said. The President called upon the students to learn from the life of Mahatma Gandhi and do social service on the 150thbirth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
