Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday has revealed the mysterious object he was carrying during his plogging session at the Mamallapuram beach on Saturday

October 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed the mysterious object he was carrying during his plogging session at the Mamallapuram beach on Saturday, October 12. Taking to Twitter PM Modi said the object is referred to as an acupressure roller. He also mentioned that he often uses the object as it is very helpful for him.
Since yesterday, many of you have been asking - what is it that I was carrying in my hands when I went plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram.

PM also cleaned the Mamallapuram beach in Tamil Nadu, in a show of his commitment towards cleanliness and fitness. This act by the Prime Minister comes on the sidelines of his second informal summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Recently, Prime Minister Modi had declared a mass movement against the use of single-use plastic. Taking the commitment further, Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister shared a video of plogging along the beach. Additionally, he appealed to keep public places clean and to ensure fitness.

PM Modi speaks about plogging on Mann ki Baat
Plogging means picking up trash such as used plastic bottles while jogging or running. Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his radio show Mann ki Baat, spoke to Ripu Daman Bevli, who introduced the concept of plogging. PM Modi said that Bevli is known as the 'Plogman of India'. "It is a matter of pride for the world, that all 130 crore Indians have decided to make the country plastic-free on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The world is watching as we take steps towards conservation of the environment. I am assured that on October 2, you will be part of the movement for the prevention of single-use of plastic. A youth, Ripu Daman Bevli has started a unique movement called Plogging," PM Modi had said.
